Hiking and mountain biking. | Off-Road Vehicle Trails/Routes Porterfield Lake Motorcycle Trail (9 miles East): 22 miles of motorcycle trail. | Watchable Wildlife Moose released in the western Upper Peninsula in the 1980's now constitute a thriving free-ranging herd. Moose, as well as deer, black bears, coyotes, foxes and more can be seen throughout the forested areas of this region. Information on the moose reintroduction and driving tour routes can be obtained at Van Riper State Park (22 miles North). |
