This table uses data reported on the on-line reporting form for the current calendar year.

This data is used to detect trends in mortality. Along with the laboratory test results, this data helps establish a normal  wildlife mortality  baseline that may help determine if an outbreak of WNV is occurring.  Use of the data may help determine which species of birds or mammals are most susceptible and most resistant to WNV.
