COUGAR, LYNX AND BOBCAT OBSERVATION REPORT
This information is voluntary under Part 365, Endangered Species Protection, of the
Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, Act 451 of the Public Acts of 1994.
Species Observed:Cougar*     Lynx     Bobcat

For help with identification, refer to this guide (PDF) for distinguishing characteristics between bobcat, lynx and similar-looking species.

*If cougar tracks and/or scat were found, please call your local DNR Operations Service Center to report your observation. It is very important that we receive this information as soon as possible. One of our wildlife biologists may be able to visit the site if you are able to provide physical evidence of the observation for their review (photos, video, hair sample, etc.).
