The trails are shared with hikers in the park. | Off-Road Vehicle Trails/Routes Clear Lake State Park has opened a trail spur that offers Off Road Vehicle (ORV) riders a direct connection to the Atlanta ORV route and the Michigan Cross Country Cycle Trail. | Paddling | Swimming A sandy beach and shallow swimming areas make this an ideal location for swimming. | Watchable Wildlife The 48.5-mile scenic drive afford an opportunities to see deer, elk, black bear, snowshoes hare, fox, coyote, racoon, squirrel, ruffed grouse, bald eagle, loon and great blue heron. The fall season with the changing colors is an especially beautiful time to view the area. |
