 | | Wilson State Park | | Fishing Budd Lake, a 175- acre lake, boasts great fishing. A large fish population of muskellunge, bass, panfish, perch and walleye inhabit the lake. Besides fishing, pleasure boating and water-skiing are also popular activities on Budd Lake. A modern concrete launch ramp is located outside the park on the south end of the lake and mooring is allowed along the lake's shoreline | Metal Detecting Metal detecting is recognized as a legitimate recreation activity when it is conducted in ways that do not damage the natural and cultural resources in Michigan State Parks nor violate applicable state statutes. If you wish to use a metal detector in this state park, here is a map that shows clearly where this activity may take place. | | Beach | Beach House Provides restrooms for swimmers. | Cabins & Lodges This modern lodge features a half bath, plus a 3/4 bath, one queen-sized bed, one set of bunk beds, one queen-sized futon, stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils, TV with DVD player, and a gas log fire place. The lodge rents for $90 per night on Friday and Saturday with a two night minimum on weekends. And Sunday through Thursday nights the rent is $80/night. The lodge sleeps six, please remember to bring your own bedding.
